PBT Injection Moulding

PBT resin offers excellent processability, electrical properties, and good surface finish quality

What Is PBT?

Polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) is semi-crystalline thermoplastic with excellent processibility and good mechanical properties, which make it a versatile general purpose resin for wide range of applications.

We offer four grades of PBT through our injection moulding service:

  • CCP 4115 104F 15% Glass Fibre: A glass fibre 15% reinforced injection moulding grade. Characterised by excellent electrical properties, excellent mechanic and chemical properties, excellent weather-ability, excellent wear properties, excellent mouldability, and high resistance to fuels, oil, fats and many solvents.
  • Celanex 2002-2: A general purpose, unreinforced polybutylene terephthalate with a good balance of mechanical properties and processability. Celanex 2002-2 is a medium flow material that contains an internal lubricant.
  • Celanex 2401: An unreinforced, high molecular weight PBT that complies with the requirements of CFR 21 177.1660 of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Contains no animal derived materials.
  • Ultradur B 4300 G10 50% Glass Fibre: Injection moulding grade with 50 % glass fibres for very rigid technical parts.
