EVENT PRIZE DRAWING OFFICIAL RULES
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
These Official Rules (the "Rules") apply to specific random prize drawings ("Drawing") conducted by Proto Labs, Inc., 5540 Pioneer Creek Drive, Maple Plain, MN 55359 ("Sponsor") in conjunction with specific trade shows or events (“Event”). These Rules will be referenced at each applicable Event. By entering a Drawing, you agree to be bound by these Rules. WHO MAY ENTER: The Drawing is open to registered attendees of the Event who are legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia and at least 18 years old at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor and their immediate family members (spouses, siblings, parents, and children) are not eligible.
HOW TO ENTER AND WIN: To enter the Drawing, visit Proto Labs exhibit at the applicable Event to fill out an entry form or have your Event badge scanned and/or participate in social media promotion of Proto Labs at the Event. The winner of the Drawing will be selected in a random drawing during the Event or within ten (10) business days after the last day of the Event from among all eligible entries received. The Drawing will be conducted at the Event or at Proto Labs’ business address listed above during normal business hours. The winner will be notified in person, by email, or by social media channel. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late or illegible entries. All entries become the property of Sponsor, and will not be returned. Information collected in connection with this Drawing is governed by Sponsor’s Privacy Policy.
PRIZE: The Drawing’s promotional materials for the Event will list the item and quantity of prize(s) available and the value of such prize(s). The odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received during the Event. Prizes are non-transferable. All federal, state and local income taxes connected to the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. All applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Failure to respond to prize notification or to execute and return any requested document within seven (7) days, or the return of any prize or prize notification as undeliverable, may result in the awarding of the prize to an alternate winner in a random drawing.
PRIZE DISTRIBUTION: Prizes will be given out at Event or sent within thirty (30) business days following the Drawing. You must have provided an address to which U.S. mail can be delivered. In some instances, prizes may be awarded at the Event. Sponsor will be responsible for costs of delivering prizes to the winner. Sponsor will not be responsible for lost, undeliverable, damaged or stolen prizes. Sponsor makes no representation or warranty with respect to the safety, performance or appearance of any prize awarded.
PRIVACY: Sponsor will be collecting personal data of entrants in accordance with its privacy policy at www.protolabs.com. By participating in the Drawing, you agree to Sponsor’s collection and use of your personal data.
MISCELLANEOUS: By participating in the Drawing, all entrants agree to release Sponsor, its clients, and vendors from any and all liability for any loss, harm, damages, costs or expenses, including without limitation property damages, personal injury and/or death, arising out of participating in the Drawing, or the awarding, acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize awarded. Entrants waive all rights to punitive, incidental and/or consequential damages, or any other damages, including attorneys’ fees. In the event the Drawing cannot be held, including cancellation of the Event, or other reasons beyond Sponsor’s control, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate or modify the Drawing in its sole discretion to be equitable and fair for all eligible entries received prior to the cancellation or termination of the Drawing. Persons found tampering with or abusing any aspect of the Drawing, or who Sponsor believes is causing errors, disruptions or damage will be disqualified. Sponsor's decisions with respect to the drawing are final. Sponsor reserves the right to add to or change these Rules at any time subject to applicable laws and regulations. Visa is not affiliated in any way with Proto Labs or a sponsor of this contest and use of the Visa gift card will be subject to the applicable cardholder agreement.
CHOICE OF LAW: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrants and Sponsor in connection with the Drawing, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the substantive laws of the State of Minnesota.
